Paragon Capital Management ( PCM ) has appointed Trevor Lau as managing director and strategist. Based in Singapore, he will report to Paul Lee, co-founder, chief executive officer, and chief investment officer of PCM, and Irene Ng, chief operations office and compliance / risk officer of PCM.
Lau brings over 20 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, and investment strategy across Asia. He has held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Azura Investment Partners, UBS, and Citigroup Private Bank. He has led high-performing teams, driven client acquisition initiatives, and delivered tailored investment solutions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, while fostering a culture of compliance, performance, and client excellence.
As CEO at Azura Investment Partners, he established the Singapore office, secured regulatory licensing, and led the strategic launch of the firm’s Asia platform. At UBS, he served as managing director and head of entrepreneur segment for Southeast Asia, where he focused on business growth among ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs and integrated cross-division capabilities. His tenure at Credit Suisse spanned over a decade, where he held senior roles in investment consulting and team leadership.
Lau has been a CFA charterholder since 2000. He holds a master of science in applied finance from the National University of Singapore and a bachelor of business ( second upper honours ) from Nanyang Technological University.
